People with smaller yards or no yard at all often ask us, “would raised beds work in my garden?” In a word, we say YES! Raised beds can help turn a small space into a lush garden, making them a perfect choice for your deck or balcony. Wondering which one will work for you? The following kits are well-suited to gardening in small spaces:

Raised Garden 4′x4′x12″ : this is our smallest raised bed, and can fit in a corner of your yard or garden, or even on a deck or patio. Plant a small raised vegetable garden on your patio (just steps from your back door!) or add visual interest to your deck by planting annuals to create a raised flower bed.

Urban Raised Garden 4′x4′x12″ with Veggie Wall: Using a vegetable trellis can really maximize a small space, so we recommend adding one to your raised garden bed if you’re trying to create a sustainable garden on an apartment balcony or rooftop. Think of it as a skyscraper for plants!

Raised Garden 4′x8′x24″: This raised bed fits easily in a small or medium-sized yard, and its double-high depth allows you to garden without constantly bending. Great for those of us who have a few more years of gardening experience (and the achy knees to prove it).

Frame it All raised beds are designed for trouble-free assembly and maintenance–a great way to get started with gardening even if you’re dealing with limited space.
